hello

by Uriel Tovar

i ate the world today
and spit out the stem
sugar coated dreams
stuck to the tops of my teeth

I hate it when that happens. Excellent work.

I thought I ate the world already...hmmm, what did I eat then?! =/

Your teeth may rot. The world can't be healthy for you. Unless you ate the Utopian version leaving us with reality. If that is the case, then you may become a idealist --then someone may eat you. ;)

Your poem is interesting and short (my favorite kind) I know you spit out the stem but I am wondering if the seeds are growing in your stomach.

My favourite thing to do is simplify the largest thoughts into something small you could hold in your hand but would be so heavy that you might think it to break fingers...well done....you do this.

And I think it is finished.

Startling and bold. An excellent combination, with wonderful images.
