louder and louder

my heart beats of life's seismic shock surprise
sending electric sparks
and waves,
of life awake
down through my spine

a silent boom
and burst of light
at midnight's time you shine

you feel like warm sparkling dew
gliding, not falling, from my eyes

caught in hand as precious stone,
and finest jewel you are
grander than earth in size
yet chose with love to dwell in dust
before igniting time

on broken earth here I am
yet not left far behind
I walk in word and light on path
as I in you abide
