A Silent Man

by Jeffrey Parren

A man shall not need
prove his intelligence
for it is the flatulence
of the mouth
that soils the air
of wit.

A silent man is to be feared
as the one that thinks
more than he speaks
is picturing the world
as what it is
rather than what many others
take as face value.

...sometimes what passes for wisdom in silence is the stench of not sharing, such is not your case...silent wisdom, never shared rots too. not disagreeing, just adding to.
