Like a star shining in midsummer sky
your true love, my sweet, brings such a wonder.
My lightest heart, full of love, goes on high
as your sweetest love rends it asunder.
That lovely star gleams, brings such delight
shining forth in solitary beauty.
Lighting up my word on this very night,
