The banquet of by Keith D Allison
the whisper of wings on the wind
beautiful women but didn't know the tune
the stars do dance and dreams come true
a time to breathe and a time to cry
love passes by
no time to fly
like a child in the sky
vanishing as the wheels of a bicycle
in night
the face of an angel
in the Garden of the gods
the tears of time
so soft
so soft

Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 07/10/10 at 02:51 AM Poetically profound. Poets especially should
split our lives into 10-minute units and sacrifice as few as possible to any meaningless activity. Time is our most important asset, we are all playing with numbers on a dial that denotes but cannot alter the flow of forever or let alone any single momemt. Inspiring. Thanks. |
