When I am now going to you my love
my heart is so free, yet so very light.
Again, it is you I am dreaming of
while such darkness overtakes the night.
When I am leaving you, my heart does tear
as the miles grow long between us, and then
The time, once more, does quicken and draw near.
when we will be together, once again.
As so goes our lives, like so many waves
upon these far, and yet distant shore.
I know this, in my heart, in so few days
we will be as one, as it was before.
In going to you now my love, my muse,
the minutes hasten, as such thoughts peruse.
