my favorite season by Nichole FujiWhere does the dark broken night hide when you arise
Does it rest while you are so awake and alive
How great and wonderful is the dewy faithful morning that awaits you
always as an umbrella of everlasting promise
How warm the rays that mightily shine from the empyrean skies,
that stretch out to you because they missed you during night's time
How rejuvenating the light shower that falls upon your skin
from the sun kissed cotton clouds that hang in the soft happy blue
How simple and complex the beauty sight of the first young white tulip
who persevered her way from the earth and sprung above the grass blades height
Where are your memories of me when I am longing for your return next spring
Does my laughter and embrace linger in your three season slumber 06/08/2010 Author's Note: This is very much so not like my others poems.. . or is it?
