Forever and always
I remain unchurched.
Been there, done that
even got a t-shirt
once.
I know this dance
this self-same chance,
this supposed routine.
What lies thereafter
remains to be unseen.
Not a popular notion
I know,
that, not being in attendance.
Some dance this dance
alone.
I just know the movements
but not the outcome.
