The bus finally came
and I sat down
on my usual seat
which put me at ease.

The headphones went on
and I danced to the beat
as the bus chugged along
the route that never changed.

The arrival was swift enough
as I had dozed off
where the lights danced
in the beat as one.

Greens blues reds
hopped in rhythm
pulsating energy
to songs without words.
