For a time my emotions
were finally kept in check.

I knew what I wanted,
and I had it
until everything
became mixed up
by the agony
of misinformation.

The past is too rough
for some to handle
and forecast it upon
the future
at no fault of any others.

The world repeats itself
because you allow it to.

These mixed emotions
take focus off center
leading life astray
until it is almost
too hard to find
your way back.
