Sitting here in the dark
having done nothing
but pen a few words.

The day of futility
revolved around
thinking.

The more you think
the less you do.

Now
“You've Got Mail”
is on
and all this sappy
cool
fun
romance crap
is really putting
a damper
on
my meaningless day.

I'm still broken
and she still calls
as if I would go back
to the stupidity
which she terms
“happiness.”

I call it darkness
like now.
Typing thoughts
symbolic of this day.
