Whistle Fish (A Dizain) by Linda FullerA whistle fish, encumbered by his scales,
strives mightily to weigh the pros and cons:
should he play sports and fart with other males
or learn to empathize from lady prawns?
The contemplation tires him; he yawns
and inhales krill where only sea should go.
To wash them down, he quaffs a cuppa joe;
too hot, it burns his gullet going down.
He shakes it off; his ducks back in a row,
he whistles for his pipe and evening gown.
