Beera has ten heads...

by Jo Halliday

like skaters on ice, bumping
and giggling, as cold on the red tips of their noses,
the condensed days with long nights the fullblooded gnashing of teeth;
the clouds come and go today and leave footprints, brief ones
and the snow is rich with red blossoms. home early the birds tremble.
with life.

An unforgettable ode to winter- 'the birds tremble' evoked a harrowing, pitying scene. Great write.

Vibrant and cold but holding the promise of life and future. Dazzling imagery that impresses itself on the mind of the reader. Thanks for sharing.
