Beera has ten heads... by Jo Hallidaylike skaters on ice, bumping
and giggling, as cold on the red tips of their noses,
the condensed days with long nights the fullblooded gnashing of teeth;
the clouds come and go today and leave footprints, brief ones
and the snow is rich with red blossoms. home early the birds tremble.
