Repulsion

by Richard Colinson

A bag of repulsion
Inside me I mean
The scrunched up carrier bag

Quite what is repelled from what I ask
You, me, this thing bouncing around
The sky is calm the sea is just so
Even though no thing will hold the centre
No images will fix
In the middle of my mind

I know that sensation all too well...it is restless and relentless and akin to the sensation of being on a ship in a storm...
