The antithesis of
"lay it on me straight"

As readable as a sunfaded
treasure map in Hebrew

and at times as useless.

out to get me
out to hit me
and spit me
back into my face
till I'm drenched:
drip drip, drip drip, drip drip dripping
with a good
sense of my own
self-worth.
lessness.

Slam the
door
on the way
out

I don't care.

But throw me a drink
if you think
you can do it without
busting open my head
(or more importantly,
my
.beer.)
