Type A

by Maria Francesca

So I took this test
that I found in an old magazine.
According to my score
I'm a Type A personality.

Which means that
I'm an uptight
nitpicking control freak
and if I don't have a heart attack
by the time I'm forty-five
it will be because
my brain will already
have exploded by then.

Which is important
because it means
that I don't have alot of time
to plan my funeral

which is important
because I swear
if they bury me in an ugly outfit
I will come back and haunt them in it.

And what kind of coffin to choose?
And what color lining?
And what about the guest list?
And what about the menu for the wake?
And should there be a color scheme?

And what about organ donation --
can I choose who gets them?

And I'd better get to work
on that obituary...

Cute write! We all have so much to do before we die. My wife's cousin has just noted on her "facebook page" that she has paid all of her funeral expenses. But then, she is being treated for a second bout with cancer.

I am a type "A" also. I wrote my will out the other day....I'll be buried in an old denim jumper (circa 1987- GAP), with a doll, a pack of cheap cigaretttes, a lighter, and a John Irving novel. WONDERFUL!
