Hindsight 20/20

by Kristen Heyl

Ever wish you could take back
those defining moments in life
that has allowed good things
to slip through your fingers?

Ever wish you could draw
upon someone else's strengths
to overcome your weaknesses
so you could be a complete package?

Ever wish that for once
just once you couldn't
mess things up and make
life harder for yourself?

Ever wish that you could let
down your defenses and be free
from the restraints of years
of pent up hurt?

Ever wish you could just follow your heart
without your mind jumping in?

Ever wish you were someone else??

I used to ask myself these very same questions. You can overcome it all, it's not easy but you can. One day, you'll wake up and realize what matters and what doesn't and you'll trim the fat from your life. I did it in November and I can say, I have NEVER been this happy. Good luck girl.
