Flying on the wings of happiness
smiles replace the tears
heart soars to cloud nine
and darkness exists no longer.

Light and carefree
I fly through the air
looking around at the gorgeous view.

You have given me a new view on life,
one that I had been too scared to see before.
A view that allows for things to be seen
in a positive light and allows me
to take "risks" that I may never
have thought about before.

Thank you for setting me free,
allowing me to spread my wings
and experience all life has to offer.

Fancy Steps
Step by step
I follow
letting you lead
the way
cautious of each
step I take
not wanting to
step on the back
of your feet
so you don't
feelcrowded
and ready
to run.

You have provided
me with a sense of
security and comfort
that nobody else has
ever been able to provide.

Don't want to scare you
with these feelings
but I can't hold them
in for fear of explosion.

I will have to be content
with letting these words
dance on paper for the
time being until I
am sure you won't run.
