Dark desires hide within,
unleashed when vulnerable
and no protection around except
possibility of being woken up
before the scene plays out in entirety.

Within the sleeping soul,
reality no longer exists
but instead she acts out
what she may wish to happen.

While in this dream state,
everything feels as though
it were meant to be.
No consequences are possible
since she is the "director"
of how this "movie" will turn out.

Awakened out of this dream
she is shocked, disgusted,
but yet intrigued by this
other realm she has entered.

Frightening to think of the time spent
on believing herself as different
from acting on the typical human
yet emotions bring her right back into reality.

Within the realm of reality
she would never go after
what she couldn't have
but within the dream realm
she not only goes after
the impossible but
unleashes the wild side of her being.

Troubled by this dream
she mulls it over
and decides that as long
as those dark desires and actions
stay in the dream realm
everything will be fine.
