coma cluster

i fucked the midwife;
stuck my knife deep in her neck
and left her by the riverside,
with the reeds and the flies.
she had a coma cluster
of galaxies in her chest.
sometimes i swear i can still see, at night,
how her inner light beams through the blood and the muck
painting the landscape like a lava lamp.
