Name of the Game by George Hoernerwhat is your name?
and the struggle begins
i don’t wear a nametag
after all, I’m not three anymore
i could check my license
but that would give it away
besides, it’s not in my back pocket
i wonder where I left it
oh well, no money
or credit cards in it anyway
now why did I want my wallet
oh yes, my name
no, don’t walk away
i’ll think of it
just give me a second
let me see
“Little Jack Horner sat”
that’s it I know
my last name is Hoerner
not spelled the way they do
but that’s ok, now,
for the first name
Humpty Dumpty no that’s wrong
Jack and Jill no
Simple Simon no
oh, come on, come on
Georgie Porgie
that’s it
my name is
George Hoerner
see I did remember
now where did she go
mother!!
