Insecure Snow Queen by Jared OrlandoThe glaciers that slowly fall from her
Eyes burst onto the ground, on her
Feet and she shivers while a wind
Wisps past heavy eyes, through tangled
Knots of tired hair and she falls into
The ice lifting her hands to her icy
Eyes while falling into a frozen world
Cracking and accepting her fragility
Swallowing whole, insecure snow queen
Losing a footing on life, trading warmth
Of the heart, for the chill of the cold.
