i'll count by Charlie Morgani was counting the days left,
got to yesterday and quit.
tomorrow, i'll start again.
a heard a magic moment was coming.
i couldn't wait, i'll sell lemonade
as people'll come to view its arrival.
couples will be holding each other tight.
babies will have begun to shussh themselves.
some still burning from yearning.
and i chilled lemonade for the event.
i'll stay late, pick-up pieces of love,
that is bound to be left lying around.
i've followed enough of these to know.
and i drift alone in a world of my own,
anyway. 05/03/2010 Posted on 05/03/2010 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
