The Pilot (lyrics)

by Danny Washington

Think about the story
about the courage of one man at the scene

The pilot not knowing
which direction he has to flyy

For people who've been difficult, the poor have spoken
why can't the mysterious bring their own frames

But the weather now is turning, and the forest now is burning
a man dressed for the winter is still chasing his thoughts

I'm joined now by the need
to invest in your future, invest in you being here
it's my only hang up that I've yet to reach

You could reach the heights of
a spitfire howling down, over a broken town
and I don't think they'll get out alive

I found out, he was guilty
every conversation was I contest I lost

A head full, of animals
and different dieties to keep him at home

But one day he'll leave this place and, find somewhere out in space
he doesn't need the human race to reach towards the stars

The body clock is racing and, his misery is chasing
and the hopeful drugs are failing to bring down the sky

And you could climb the heights or
a spitfire crashing down, and scaring the whole damn town
and I don't think they'd want to survive

I think they'd all choose to die

Great stuff across the board.
