In my own way by Christopher ShinMy soul feels
so lingering,
and I think.
For a moment
a thought crosses
the empty sky.
And my eyes lock
onto the broken.
The glasses seem
to fog over.
The salt and water
glisten the marble
and I fall.
I drag the gloom
against the big
blue.
And I'm alone,
with my own tragedy.
I walk away
in my own pace.
I stagger in
my own step.
And I clench
my fist in
my own pain. 04/23/2010 Posted on 04/24/2010 Copyright © 2024 Christopher Shin
