he needed told by Charlie Morgantoday my goal is to explain the area of time
between dusk and dark to Stevie Wonder.
to get warmed-up, i pitch like Nolan Ryan;
first long balls from left field, then,
close the gap by twenty yards each third throw.
all because of what i knew's coming up.
he had to be told, i had no choice.
while going to get a donut in the morning.
i had a visit with my 4 yr. old grandson;
we covered women, college, dreams;
i asked if he understood? he said,
"Papaw a firetruck!, a firetruck Papaw!"
i smiled a knowing smile. all was good. 04/22/2010 Posted on 04/22/2010 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
