I could not shut your voice
out of my weary brain.
It seemed that you just enjoy
the sound of your voice.
It's always the same.
I tried to employ
some semblance of silence,
yet your droning would not quit.
Somehow I simply forget
why it was that you spoke,
your voice was indeed broke.
