Songs From All around

by Christopher Shin

Lull me to a
time when I was
you and you were
a common dream.

I stamp my foot,
and I am gone again.
As words that
seem to be foreign,
sing wisdom.

Only to tell me
that I'm a fool.
So I listen to
the explosion
as the crimson
lips grin.

The bright ivory
smash into me.
I slam my head down.

I turn and run
as I fall.
And deliver the
last stand.

Cause I'm
the cause and the
end.
