on the corner of Edgewood and Alma
on a spring afternoon in Morgantown
the cherry trees blossom
as tulips spring forth
from the warming ground
the sun shines bright,
grass so green, so very clean
in this beautiful of days
these are the days we live for
throughout this short time we call life
I long for this, I live for such
this is what completes me
