Why cry?

People turn over
new leaves,
and leave others to
turn over in their graves.
Why cry rivers
when the past wont wash away
and no baptism
or deluge
will change things?
You've had your time,
and they do say that time
heals all wounds.
Sometimes its best to let the blood flow
and be done,
why cry over stitches and scrapes?
