Pale Blue by V. Blakeit seems to me that death
is basically just boredom
experienced recursively,
and the main distinction
between god and science
is the mathematics.
so, the way i figure it,
a clever sense of humor
is all we need to derive
our prophets from engineers,
and the main distinction
between Christ and Sagan
could be the artwork. 04/13/2010 Posted on 04/13/2010 Copyright © 2024 V. Blake

Posted by Jessica Polanco on 04/14/10 at 07:55 AM beautiful work.
flows really nicely, my favourite line "between god and science
is the mathematics." you have great talent! |
Posted by George Hoerner on 04/14/10 at 12:47 PM Nice write Vince. But I think math incorporates God. It has both zero and infinity, which is nothing and everything at the same time. I love Sagan's painting of the universe but I also love very early Russian iconography. Again well done! |

Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 04/14/10 at 09:16 PM Excellent balance and a very intriguing poem. Well done. Thanks. |
Posted by Frankie Sanchez on 10/08/10 at 09:41 PM "could be the artwork." ... yeah, that's brilliant. |
Posted by Paul Lastovica on 10/09/10 at 02:50 AM as always, it's up to the beholder; this assume said beholder is able to think things through on his/her own. If that's not the case...well, that's a whole other can of fish bait. |
Posted by Tony Young on 10/11/10 at 09:06 PM This reminds me of "The poet and the clown"...
