Replanting by Richard ColinsonI want to write poems again
For a while I stopped
But now I'm rested and restless
And I want to dig and pick
At the roots of my soul
Follow those twisted courses
Tease them straight in the light
And break them where they are blackened
To replant myself here with you
In this fresh soil and clear water

Posted by Therese Elaine on 04/06/10 at 04:28 PM I know the feeling...my fingers have been restless to sketch out new pieces, new fertile bits of writing, that they might blossom in their own time. It's good to see you're still around. |
