not a love poem by Sarah Georgei thought of writing you a love poem
but i've a better idea:
a poem of indifference.
Forty years from now
i wonder how much i'll even remember of you
perhaps i'll catch a touch of a wiff of the scent of
your deodorant
and a brief glimpse of familiarity
will flit through my mind.
gone. 03/29/2010 Author's Note: i found this years-old poem recently & realised i have no idea who actually inspired it :)
