Light in the Body

by Christopher Shin

The time is coming
soon and my thoughts
are lingering and stumbling.

I will take what you
give me and I am happy
with the world as
it sleeps.

I cling to the walls
as the yellow walls
burn against the white
light.

And in it all
I find no hope
in these words.

Only the solution
of my body.

That third stanza is just spooky. I love it.
