Old Record, New Notes by Amie GoldaStart me up like the old car parked in the driveway
And though my head hurts like I slept too much ('coz I did),
I'll go along with your mixed up dreams and crazy schemes;
Because now's the only time we'll have
In a world where weekends are more tiring than the weekdays;
It's not right anymore,
We need to slow this record down.
So here I am, ready to ride your rhythm
I'll wait for you to revive me sane,
Today's about the inane
And what the heck, let's throw in a rhyme or two,
'Coz I need to restart my psyche anew
And there's no better place to do this
Than on an old playlist. 03/05/2010 Author's Note: Just playing around
