Fortunate Folk

by Richard Colinson

I envy you
The fortunate folk
Your self-image well seated
In the centre of your mind
An accurate representation
Well suited to its task
Of guiding you forwards
Through well framed situations

And never fractured or displaced
Running screaming and
Refusing to exist

A vivid description of what we all feel at one point or another about those fortunate folk indeed. Well captured. Great write!

Those have something in which to believe are most fortunate as long as their view of reality is never challenged.
