In e-mailing we have lost the
slow pace of thinking needed
to create.

To say I miss you...
the truth yet,
to hide behind my desire for
blatant honesty
is a sense of adulthood.

I wish I didn't miss you
so my sense of doing
"the right thing"
would stay white
instead of stained brown.
