Consensual Thoughts...

by Matt Forget

Kiss you
In a sweet remembrance I lay there pondering where you are
Beside me or miles away from me I miss you
I hope to be with you forever
Kiss you, I will, forever...

Your eyes water, I can tell
By the sounds you make on the phone to me
You hover over the airwaves
Begging them to bring me to you
Watering eyes, I see, too much...

Guilt me
Your lonely arms and torso lay motionless
Grasping air hoping shaped as me
Followed by sighs strengthened by sorrow
Guilt, I fear, too late...

Pleasured dreams
Of a never forgotten passion
Lightens way to new and prosperous beginnings
As I await your answer from your doorstep
Pleasure, I expect, is near...

Author's Note: Sparked by my very great friend who said "I could use a cuddle today." Even though I am a bit far to cuddle hun, I wrote you this in hopes to help you feel better. :-)

I think it is amazing how someone can be so far away and seem so close... or so close and feel so far away...
