oxygen-less lungs by Kimberly BowenFalling fast
Hitting air
Freefall with no end
Collapse and call
Scream in silence
Shatter the sound
Break through
The break down
Snip away
Insatiable relief
Slip through the crack
With each attack
Collect the pieces
Hold them close
Sigh in attempt
To reconstruct
Topple into
One more
Broken scene
Grasp hope
and filter it away
It only hurts to
breathe
