You got up to day
You made your way into your life
Laughed again
Called a long lost friend
Found the perfect way to end the night
Celebrate
You got up today
You had something to say, then you smiled
Thought again
When days were then
Of daily friends, haven’t seen in a while
Celebrate
You got up today
Very proudly say “crossed another line”
Remember when
You could see your friends
Times of just pretend live in my mind
Celebrate
You got up today
In a brand new day and a brand new light
Smiled again
Like you did back when
In younger days of innocent nights
Celebrate
You got up today
A little memory fade but I’m all right
Gave thanks again
Hope all my friends
Are safe and warm on this winters night
Celebrate
Just get up today
Go on and make your way into your life
Laugh again
Call a long lost friend
It’s the perfect way to end the night
