balancing [2-25-2010]

by Ava Blu

i keep waking up with my hands tearing at my pillow, digging through the sheets and finding my way to who knows what who knows where
i keep waking up in the middle of the night not knowing where i am and i don't know why and i don't know how
but i keep waking up before you.

This certainly seems to have one of the strongest elements of balancing in the series so far. I love the build-up in this so much. The lines that carry us through to that last unforgettable one are just perfect, perfect and perfect some more.

I hate waking up first and feeling alone. Good description of how that feels.

Ava, this feels like being in your little vortex of a nightmare. So few words but so many emotions conveyed.
