Beginnings and Endings by Amie GoldaTimeless,
How I wish I were.
That ends could never reach me
And beginnings wouldn't be
Fragile
Steps of
Uncertainty;
Where one moment can create
Or shatter hopes, springing boundless,
Into
The great
Unknown of things
Reserved for the brave--who
Venture beyond the sad demise
Goodbyes
Promise
Us; without the
Sweet consolation of
Knowing the unknown--before we
Crumble
Inward
On ourselves, out
Of the still persistent
Existence of memories past
Beyond. 02/26/2010
Author's Note: Not sure this is how you do a cinque cinquain but I did the first cinquain a long time ago and decided to finish it here.
Then I had to keep going. This was practically rambling.

Posted by Nanette Bellman on 02/26/10 at 10:31 PM Beginnings and endings are like the chicken and the egg. Which came first because you have to have to get to the other. You captured that here. |
