Innuendo Meets Adianoeta by Michael DefriesI need you to love me like you did last night
It wasn't the moves you put on me; the fire,
the candle wax bees stinging my purple flesh.
Erotic, yes, temporal no, my shifts-in-sequence
missed mountains as fallen trembles jump cliffs;
my notoriously swaggered walk tripping.
I put a C-sharp in place of a D-flat; playing
discordant in your meadow. Please don't scoff;
It's sheet music unmade by long strings.
Violins playing velvet verbose laboriously
smooth and suave, like crushed rose petals
smothering beauty with distraction.
Capturing my need for attention, you covet
my mesmerizing dance just to get a laugh
begetting, no-less-than, tasty times churning. 01/04/2010 Author's Note: IDK!
