inadequate

by Travis G Finborg

inadequate
for breath for air
my lungs deserve to deflate

a mote in the eye of nothing
a silence among silences

this deep rooted lack
ensnares me
i cannot see through the grip
of my own
perceived inadequacies

Nicely framed and well said. I think we all deal with our own inadeqacies such that it often side blinds us, leaving us feeling somewhat hopeless.Anyway, that's what the words evoked in me.This is what depression feels like.
