Unfold Into Never

by Michael Defries

This body is old and damp
seasons wither away shriveled as
one thousand forgotten breathes
makes their move on sunrise.

Temperaments awaken, to empty
pillows, next to you, as you lay.
Bridging the cold hollow with
dances of ecstatic nakedness.

Away rinse effortless while runs-
amok with emotionless worlds
descending on samsara hells,
forever reaching bottomless.

Transcend thought-being with
kindness acts, forgiving lost souls.
Recognize sentience as whole
beyond its central immobilized.

Flash-forward one thousand years,
remember tiny fragments asleep
all fracturing -wide to- shattered
lost amongst oblivion dreams,

Moving to summits-glance cool
collecting while mercury burns
merging speckles of dust and bone
into silent backdrops of black space

It unfolds into the never unfolding;
watching craters bowl on the moon
for springtime faint-shivers, seasons,
become untouched, by human minds.
