Angels Sold to Stone by Michael DefriesIt's cavity void of life; the broken earth fallen;
Is the whole of my soul sold to stone; I have fallen;
Deep | Deep | - Down into Dante's blazing inferno.
Holds captive my entropy as trembling stone
Fervent fears as my being traverses the silent
Hell; Dungeon's of the Underworld vacillating
With hell-spawn and forbidden nectars.
Tastes of firmament so real that illusion weeps;
Crying out, “oh! Archangels save us, Holiest
above high! Exalted ones, I trade you a piece,
my breast, and tear it out; my empty. For it is
all that's left; remains faint; candles blown out.”
My sires hear my cries; perish in their after-thoughts
Like souls-extinguished in the darkness following.
I dreamnt I was climbing the Great Mountain
Placing stratagem amongst the War Lords and Haides.
Under impressions that I fell from Jacobs Ladder
Down | Down | - Deep from the seven heaven's
My Soul-Merkabah floated high; I was high; Elevated
On my soujourn forgetting to pray to Angels.
