In the iris I knew
Time standing at attention
Gathering fallen moments
I did not dare intrude
As seconds went by
I felt more and more at a loss
Compounded with the sky and limits and breezes
My heart collapsed and I knew
It was gone.
Whatever it was that clung heartstrings together
Made violins crash
I heard the clock stop
While eyes fluttered close.
