Failed Romantic Encounters #14

by Therese Elaine

I hate tattoos on women.
*I blink attempting to discern if this is a joke*
Makes them look pretty whorish to me.
*I look down at chest and the tattoos that are clearly visible*
What?

Author's Note: Another first date anecdote...amazingly I managed not to kick his shin under the table.

:) I hate them in small quantities on Women. I either like nothing, or covered.

I keep thinking what happens when the woman becomes ninety and the tatoos begin to sag...(or way before that)

I hate men with petty man-rules of from their set-of-guy-friends group mentality. First date boys have no business spewing beer-foam confessions that their pact made when watching the dance floor of gyrating women who told them, "no"... ~N

Although I'm not a fan of tattoos, NOBODY has a right to tell you what to do with your body. I loved you note at the end...you should have done it.

I now feel compelled to give my opinion on tattoos or I'll be left out. I think they follow Sturgeon's law. Anyway, what a nasty man.

Appropriate response: "That's a shame, since I hate opinions in men." It's funny, the arbitrary and generalized 'hates' and pet-peeves people assume -- they are worse than pointless, as this example illustrates: if he only knew what he missed out on, and over what? A beautiful piece of art that has no effect on anything concerning him other than to accentuate an already attractive body...
