part of the Wonder by Charlie Morganall things fit,
a jigsaw's dream-date;
the puzzle of life;
a life yet to be,
buried deeply in the snows
of the tomorrows lent.
the yesterdays follow,
tin cans at a wedding.
an eyeblink. and again.
and my time was
and is now not.
my blotter is dry.
seeing my destiny's door
causes only questions.
things about it's depth.
material used. thickness.
matters of great consequence.
all parts of the Wonder.

| Posted by Laurie Blum on 02/10/10 at 05:58 PM The funniest thing is... just yesterday I was thinking "Hmmm I haven't seen a poem by Chaz in awhile" and here it is! This is lovely, I think so many of your poems are little pieces of philosophy and slices of life. I really enjoyed this a great deal. |
