I: Opens


It's the crisp folds on the back-line of his shirt
the ironed smile he holds with sparkling cuffs
linked with diamonds and eyes of emerald as
he demands your attention with polished looks.

He watches you as he opens hand-shake like
some big-time politician but really there's a
small child held captive inside his pupil with
remorse none-the-less gives you false confide.

Somehow with the tactile nature of a sales-man
he bows to make your acquaintance, hoping
that you notice his accented tie Italian with
persuasion only Ermenegildo Zegna or Hugo

Boss would captivate, small audiences afoot
moving to make eye contact this peon stands
huge with blow-fish-like monstrosity desiring
the sale like a pendulum-swing moves to close.
